James “JR” Rosenberger

Principal Managing Partner

JR first entered the automotive industry while in high school at the Wheaton Plaza Shell. In 1987, JR took on the management responsibilities at Aspen Hill Shell and became a managing partner in 1996. Today, with 50 years of experience, he stays active in the community and automotive industry. JR is treasurer on the Board of Officers for the Washington, Maryland, Delaware Service Station and Automotive Repair Association (WMDA) and a member of the Montgomery County Students Automotive Trades Foundation Inc, where he aids in the development and growth of young professionals in the automotive industry.

Jason Seney

Service Advisor

Coming from his own line of family-owned and operated service stations in Silver Spring, Maryland, Jason carries the same passion for the automotive industry as his grandfather and father did before him. Today, he works as Aspen Hill Shell’s service advisor, assisting customers with recommendations based on their specific vehicle, maintenance history, and driving habits. Billy Buttrey

Senior Technician

Billy Buttrey first joined the Aspen Hill Shell team in 1991. Then, he became a managing partner at Wheaton Plaza Shell in Silver Spring, Maryland before returning to our team in the role of the senior technician in 2004. Since then, he’s led our team of ASE technicians with exemplary dedication to quality, excellence, and honesty. We are thankful for his commitment to our business and his profession!

Robert Holt

Technician & State Inspector

Bob joined our team in 1993 as an ASE Certified technician and has since become the most tenured technician on our staff. He assists on all Maryland state safety inspections at our facility as an approved state inspector.

Lawrence Duckett

Technician & State Inspector

Lawrence joined the Aspen Hill Shell team in 2006 and has added valuable expertise and quality to our services. He is an ASE Certified technician and licensed state inspector for safety inspections in the state of Maryland.
